Say halo to your new colleagues
March was merger month at Man of Many Words. Not for me personally, you understand. That would cause all kinds of problems for the company name. No, what I mean is that I spent a couple of weeks at Columns working on the public launch campaign for the merger between law firms Pinsent Masons and McGrigors.
There was a bit of tightrope-walking involved, as the new firm is trading under the Pinsent Masons name, despite the deal being very much a merger. So for now at least, we had to give equal prominence to both brands while communicating the strength of their shared vision.
And then we saw something in the firms’ logos to convince us that this was a match made in heaven.
